Safer’s Sulphur Dust Fungicide and Miticide is a highly effective, 2-in-1 organic garden treatment containing 92% elemental sulphur. It is designed to control a broad spectrum of destructive fungal diseases and pest mites on fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals.

- Mite Infestations: Controls problematic garden pests like spider mites by disrupting their respiration and cellular activity.
Application Methods
According to the official Health Canada registered label, this product offers application flexibility:
- Dry Dusting: Apply the powder directly onto the foliage, bulbs, or corms for targeted contact control.
- Liquid Spraying: Thoroughly mix 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of the dust per 1 litre of water inside a pump sprayer. Shake or agitate the mixture continuously while spraying to keep the powder fully suspended.
Key Safety & Usage Rules
- Harvest Window: Safe to use on edible crops up to 1 day before harvest, with the notable exception of wine grapes, which require a 21-day interval.
- Temperature Caps: Avoid applying sulphur if temperatures exceed 29°C to 32°C (85°F to 90°F), as high heat reacts with sulphur and will cause severe foliage burn.
- Oil Conflicts: Do not mix sulphur with oil-based products (such as neem oil), and do not apply it to any plant treated with oil within the last 30 days.
- Timing: Apply the treatment near sunset to protect active pollinators and mitigate sun-induced leaf scorching.
- Sensitive Species: Do not use this product on sensitive plant varieties like Anjou or Comice pears.
